"Once quoted me $240 for a second hand 4x4 actuator, I laughed and bought a new oem for $39 on ebay... recently found myself stranded on a remote property with limited food and unable to earn money due to needing a tail shaft, so first thing Monday morning I wasted no time calling everyone else in town before these guys but eventually had to and was told that a sight unseen tails shaft (16 year old vehicle with 3 uni joints and a centre bearing) could be sourced from brisbane, I paid the nearly $300 and by thursday afternoon they were unable to even provide tracking so I less than politely told them that given the following day was friday and replacement unis and tail shaft bearings cannot be sourced locally on friday I would now be forced to refuse delivery of a tailshaft with any imperfections at all... they got offended, hung up and called me back shortly later to refund the money claiming hurt feelings as the reason for cancelling.... Pretty sure they were just wasting my time until the pickles salvage auction they were bidding on with my money ended... yeah I've ben buying from pickles and manheim for a decade now so I know when and how it works... also been buying and selling car parts for close to two decades so I am well and truly aware that literally no bulky freight item travels without a consignment tracking number and it is near on impossible to find a courier that will take more than two days to do a run from brisbane to toowoomba... I will be buying a whole ute now and parting it out in competition with their dodgy prices and ethics and slow service"
