"The mechanic showed up while I was on the toilet so my housemate answered and let them know I would be out shortly. When I got out there, the mechanic immediately started being confrontational about it, frustrated that I allegedly didn't answer my phone. Despite me showing him that I had no call from his number in my history and the dispatcher himself CONFIRMING THAT HE HAD GOTTEN ONE OF MY DIGITS WRONG, the mechanic refused to acknowledge it and started insulting me, claiming that I don't "respect" myself. I told him that I didn't want him working on my car in the most impolite way you can imagine. I understand that mistakes can happen and that call out mechanics do sometimes get people not answering their doors or phones, but to blatantly disregard the evidence I presented and insult my intelligence is unacceptable."
