"Excellent service. I had an Ironman bullbar installed on my DMax. Workmanship is excellent and customer service was great. As a female I am used to be treated like an idiot with mechanics however it was the opposite with the boys at Coldys. Would definitely recommend and will be back in future."
"I recently brought my 2021 Mazda Bt50 in to get an Off-road animal bullbar installed. In short I have been disappointed with the quality of the installation. Due to getting covid I was unable to take it back and with a trip coming up I decided to fix it myself. This is what I found Prior to me taking it off the bar was sagging which was my original complaint. It was implied that it was my fault due to having a winch that “looked like a truck winch” even though it is a standard sized winch, and that the “tires were causing the issues” even though they were the exact same tires on the Ute as when I took it in. The sagging was caused by bolts that were not tightened properly and as a result of the pressure of the bar, it has cracked the grille my brand new ute. The bar in general was not fitted as per the manufacturers instructions from the manual that would have been provided with the bullbar. The plastics that were cracked should have been removed by Coldys to allow clearance for when the bar moves. The bar was too far forward causing the plastic inner guards to not be where they were supposed to be which caused excessive rubbing on my fender that has damaged the paint. With this incorrect fitting the bullbar has rubbed on the headlights causing damages to the powdercoat. The wiring diagram for the parker/drl lights was not followed leaving me with no parker lights, which consequently leaves me unroadworthy. I also purchased a rear sonar relocation kit which I was told would work at time of purchase. During fitting I was told they didn’t work and was instead given brackets that were impractical for the type of driving I partake in. The sensors stopped working before the Ute even made it back home. It has left the only option to be running the stock rear bar. I’ve been left disappointed with the experience of dealing with Coldys, especially for the prices they charge. I was under the impression that such a reputable company would do the best they could to ensure that the jobs were done correctly and it would be a one and done ordeal. If you’re thinking about getting work done at Coldys it would be better to just do it yourself, at least you know it’ll be done properly."
"Very good service from owner dave coldy and team my ironman bullbar was done in less then half day without any headache very neat job and good people to deal with i got ironman bullbar done on my 2022 prado with colour coating as well and dave gave me courtesy car to take home cant ask for more thanks team coldys.."
