"Have been taking my early falcon to Mark and Danny at Early Bird for almost 20 years now. Cannot fault their knowledge or work and willingness to help. Have had one or two times that I've had a local guy try and adjust my brakes and got burnt as most people have no idea when it comes to the early ford stuff. There is an old saying which says "you get what you pay for" and in this case, it couldn't be more true. Full of good knowledge and advice and for me I've had nothing but honest work and great results. Highly recommended."
"Had an experience a while back where Danny quoted work I needed completed. The quote was $550 which was reasonably high for the minimal work required but I went with it. I had the car towed to their shop. Danny rang while they were working on it and stated the cost would go a 'little bit over their initial quote'. I told him I didn't have more funds available so it better only be a small amount over the quote. He assured it wouldn't be much more. I went to pick it up and Danny requested an EXTRA $400 on top of the $550, so $950 all up and only in cash. I told him I wasn't paying it, demanded the keys and gave him $600. Once I got the car home I found that one of the things that needed to be completed by them as part of the original quote had not been completed. Stay away from this mob at all costs. Since this experience I've spoken with several others in the car fraternity and I consistently hear negative stories where others have had bad experiences over the years. Have never spoken to anyone whose had a positive experience dealing with early bird falcon parts. Doesn't allow you to give zero stars above but I would if i could."
"Many years ago I had a new exhaust installed by these guys on my '67 XR (six cylinder.) The result was l had to return back to their workshop soon after for them to refit it properly to the engine.Mark supposedly worked as a mechanic at Ford Motor Company before opening up Early Bird Falcon Parts. If u want parts I suggest u go there, but if you want your car serviced....definitely go elsewhere."
