"I recently purchased a ‘Cali’ (or 2022 California 450 4Motion) from Mark (Kofahl) at KombiLife in May 2022. My experience of dealing with Mark (and his extended team) was excellent! His contagious enthusiasm about all things ‘Combi’ and his vast knowledge about the car and related products was indispensable. From our very first ‘conversation’, Mark always made time to answer my questions (even out of hours). Then throughout my 11-month order journey with Covid lockdowns and supply chains issues … he was happy to take calls, return calls (reassure) and provide updates about progress. A lot of our chats (from Day 1 - right up until delivery) were around ‘I’ve heard about this – what do you think?” Mark (and his team) know their stuff … and he explains things simply and in ways that really help you to make informed decisions about what you’re buying. If he doesn’t know - he’ll find out. Mark also has a REALLY GOOD team of professionals behind him that help to bring all those ‘extra’ capabilities you want to life. Batteries, solar, suspension, protection, communications, connectivity, kitchens, storage, comfort, convenience, accessories, lighting, bespoke customisation and finishing touches. There’s so much to choose from and virtually everything can be found on the KombiLife website. KombiLife also seem to keep improving on their offers (and solutions) – so if there’s a better way of doing something – they’ll find and embrace it. Crucially, their level of care, attention to detail and quality of workmanship during installation was entirely in keeping with the high VW quality. I can’t fault what they did for my van – and what we achieved. Feels a bit like you’re dealing with a caring family, rather than a business. Mark also runs (very hands on) ‘training days’ where lots of like-minded combi enthusiasts can meet up to learn about their vans and ‘push the boundaries’. I haven’t done this yet but hope to soon to learn a bit more about just what my ‘Cali’ is capable of. I mention these ‘sessions’ because buying from Mark isn't a single transaction – it feels like an ongoing relationship where Mark and his team ‘stay connected’ and keep helping you to make your van better! Anyway … enough said – you get the idea 😊 If I had to do it all again – I’d pick Mark and would definitely recommend KombiLife as a trustable entry point into all things ‘California’."
"Was such a great experience dealing with these guys. I live in Hobart. I found the van I wanted in Sydney on one Friday and bought it. Kombilife picked it up on the following Tuesday from the buyer and got it fully set up with kitchen, awning, swivel seats and a bunch of other extras by Thursday. They picked us up from the train station on Friday morning and that night we were at Perisher camping in the snow. Service was excellent."
