"Think twice about using this crowd, especially if you have a less-common vehicle. I spent $3K getting suspension work done on my S-Type Jag after one of Pedders’ assessments. A month later, I took it back as it was still driving like a Winnebago, not a Jag. They “tightened a few things”, but it was still not right. Only 800km later, I got David North’s crew to do their own assessment, because of their background working with Jags. They were horrified. Not just because Pedders had missed the need to replace control arms and bushes in the rear, but because one of the ball joints was about to fail — only 5mm of thread holding it on. That is, I was about to lose a front wheel. That same looseness had misaligned the wheels and two new front tyres were suddenly so trashed they needed replacement. I won’t be going anywhere near Pedders ever again."
"Recently took my xr6 falcon in for a new centre bearing and rubber coupling both supplied. But got told they were wrong but then Got charged 400 for the centre bearing. A $150 part max. The fitment was an extra $400 charge which is not the issue been charged 400 for a $100 part is. Sadly Never will i use hobart pedders again. We as the public paying customers don't get "professional" work done to get ripped off. Not good enough. Obviously been a mega franchise has simply grown into rippoff merchants and exploitation of customers"
