"Absolute legends. Went in for some advice on repairing a fuel tank and the staff went out of their way to help me out. They even gave the tank a quick clean out while I was there. If you want local service that is cheap, friendly and helpful, SPM are the best in the shire."
"My partner and I took our bikes here after we got into an accident. Seemed great at first, and said they’d call us the following day. We didn’t hear from them for over a week, so my partner called up and they said they’d call back very soon. Didn’t hear from them again for 4 days, so we organised to take them to another place. Went to pick them up and the owner was very rude and trying to make excuses. We understand that you might be flat out, but you could’ve at least communicated that to us from the beginning and called us back when you said you would. Poor costumer service and will not be going back. Edit after response from owner: Even so, there was no communication whatsoever. You never said it was likely a write off, and you shouldn’t be taking on work if you don’t have the time for it. If you had been honest and upfront there wouldn’t have been any issues, and we could’ve taken them somewhere else, rather than wasting 2 weeks."
"If I could give 0 stars I would. As per my partners review, we dropped our bikes off on the 27th of August for mechanical repairs due to an accident (not a insurance job). They said they’d call us the next day, nothing for over a week. I called them up on the following Thursday and asked what was happening and I was received with an apology and that I was going to be contacted asap with an update! Nothing again for nearly a week… got fed up and organised another shop to do the work. Upon arrival to do collect the bikes the owner met me with rudeness and attitude and just made excuses. I get you're BUSY but communicating with your customers with a simple phone call which takes 30 seconds is not difficult or so I thought. Please do not take your bikes here for mechanical repairs! I made the mistake once and never again! EDIT AFTER OWNERS REPLY: It wasn’t for a 10 minute job it was to look at a fuel tank leak which I was told would take an hour besides that again there was NO communication between the business and myself just empty promises of work getting done. Also the “smashed up” bikes as you put it is way off track, after the new shop had a look at the bikes in a mater of 10 minutes he said both bikes are reasonably easy fixes and mine (the CBR 500r) especially was an hour job to repair…. so seems the businesses mechanical knowledge is a little off there?? Adding to that for future customers and business don’t take on jobs you know you can’t do and get done.. common sense really. It’s sad we wasted two weeks for no reason. Thanks again guys!"
