"To sum up my experience, over promise and under deliver. When I booked the tow everything was all sunshine and daisies and I was promised that I would see a tow truck driver within the hour, once the hour passed I had to call up to find out what was happening and was told the driver would be 5 minutes then he would be driving out to me, it was 10 minutes later I got a call saying I would be waiting another 30 minutes as they had picked up another job and when I requested to speak to a supervisor apparently there were none who work there and it was only until I sent an email detailing the unprofessional service I had experienced that the manager called me to let me know he was considering just cancelling my tow and threatening that he will do it if I’m not happy, I paid for a tow in full and was not happy with the service or time frame in which the tow happpened, do not recommend"
"Truly exceptional. I had a front end collision with another vehicle, where the emergency services were called. Alan from 131tow attended. I was in shock and quite distressed about the accident. Alan was calm, polite, kind, efficient and helpful. He advised that his company work with my insurer, so there was no need to make roadside calls to the insurer. This was very calming for me. After the police and fire services had finished their work he swiftly put my car on the car transporter. Then dropped me home, emptied out my car of my personal belongings as I watched, so could take them home. This included my two car seats. Nothing was too much trouble and he was a consummate professional. My car was a write off. Then a week later, Alan personally delivered to me my Visa card and my children’s favourite cd, to my home. He’d found them as he did a final check of the car as it was delivered to the auctioneer. I can not recommend 131tow more highly. I am incredibly grateful for their exceptional service. Thank you."
"I never review anything but my experience with this company was terrible. I booked a week in advance and called to check the day before, and no trucks came for over 5 hours despite every time I called them being told it would be within the hour. I rebook for 2 weeks later and say I’m working and need it picked up at 7:30. I call them at 7:30 today to be told it can’t be done. Despite the fact I also checked yesterday. I know things are out of peoples control and people on the phone are doin there best, I respect that but also some of the people on the phone were super rude (to be fair some of the people called were lovely and understanding). But terrible and embarrassing. Be better!"
